Com um preço acima do meio milhão de dólares, as hipóteses deste iCube chegar à vossa sala de estar no futuro próximo são um pouco remotas. Ainda assim, o quarto 3D da EON Reality é uma espectacular solução de imersão estereoscópica, com um potencial de aplicação enorme em áreas variadas como a educação e o marketing. No entanto, sendo eu um grande geek, o que eu gostava mesmo era de jogar ao Halo dentro disto!

With a price tag over half a million dollars, chances are this iCube won’t be coming to a living room near you as soon as you’d wish. Still, EON Reality’s 3D room is one of the most remarkable displays of stereoscopic 3d immersion I’ve ever seen. I can imagine lots of uses for this, in education and marketing for example. But since I’m a big geek, what I’d really love to do is to play Halo on that beauty.

    Já estava a ficar preocupado com a falta de "postagens". Gosto de inaugurar o meu dia com as actualizações do teu Blog...Apesar de ser uma constante visita do teu espaço, sou dos que costuma invadir e sair sem dizer nada, tal como nas relações por vezes um curto “abandono” obriga-nos a levantar a mão e a dizer presente.
    Consigo imaginar para onde se dirige o cinema e os videojogos, parece-me extraordinário e mal posso aguardar por poder experimentar…

    The architecture blog A Barriga de um Arquitecto / The Belly of an Architect (written in bilingual Portuguese-English) is mainly focused on contemporary architecture and urban design, covering recent works from Portuguese architects as well as projects of international significance.

    My name is Daniel Carrapa. I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1973. I’m an architect living in Évora, a nice historical town that was included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 1986. I’m married, have 4 cats – Matilde, Patanisco, Olivia, Lisa – and 1 dog – Moby. Moby is a three-legged dog. He’s okay. I graduated as an architect in 1996 (FAUTL Lisbon Faculty of Architecture). I am also an authority on cat litter and will provide expert advice upon request.
